BLKVLY is built on tension.
When vocalist Ofir Kruvi and guitarist and music producer Ido Weisberg started writing together in Tel Aviv in 2024, they ran in opposite directions. one toward melodies, the other toward down-tuned distortion and electronics. Instead of compromising, they stacked both into the same space.
The result pairs pop choruses with heavy riffs, using calculated bursts of metal screams to drive the tracks to peak emotional highs.
The duo’s debut album, set for release in September, captures the point where those early clashes became a sound of their own. It features the tracks “Frail,” “This Place That We Call Home” and “All Mine.”

“This album came from the first experiments between my singing and Ido’s writing. We didn’t know what the band was supposed to sound like. It turned into something dark, addictive and different, and it gave us a strong base for what comes next.
We usually never see eye to eye at the beginning. But once we merge our ideas, we always end up loving what comes out”
